Pastor Robert Kuefner is serving Trinity Lutheran Church as Senior Pastor. He was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. He attended Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska, graduating in 1991. He then went to the Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, graduating in 1995. He served his vicarage at St. John's Lutheran Church, East Moline, Illinois. In June of 1995 he was called by Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, North Platte, Nebraska to be their senior pastor. He was ordained and installed on June 25th, 1995 at Beautiful Savior. In April of 2003 he was called by Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Kearney, Nebraska to be their associate pastor. He has served at Trinity since 2012.
In July of 1991, He married Amy (Galliart), who has an elementary education/early childhood degree from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska. Amy was a stay home mom when the kids were younger and is a teacher with the Lexington Public Schools. They have four children: Alex, Ben, Daniel, and Megan. All four kids are grown. Alex is a para at Lexington High School. Ben teaches at Christ the King Lutheran School in Memphis, Tennessee, and Daniel and Megan attend Concordia University in Seward. In his spare time, he enjoys computers and technology, reading, and he loves sports-- especially baseball and cycling, He seeks to be very balanced as a pastor, husband, and father.

Maria has been serving Trinity for almost five years. She has been a big asset because she is bilingual and has helped out various Trinity groups along with other community volunteer organizations through her language abilities. Maria and her husband have three children.
